Sister Udita has been the principal for Prajna Vihar School since 2021, appointed by her provincial leader in the main convent in Ranchi. She was brought up in a Christian household, pursued her education first with a B.A. and then a master’s degree, and decided to become a teacher. She ordained as a nun and travelled extensively through India before settling down at the Amar Jyoti convent a few kilometers away from the center of Bodh Gaya. In her time off, she enjoys singing and dancing.
