Pushpa Kumari attended the Prajna Vihar School as a girl, as did her brothers and sisters. Since 2013 she has taught Hindi and English to the younger children in classes 1 to 3 at the Prajna Vihar School. She earned a B.A. and master’s degree in education and is particularly interested in working with poor children. Pushpa continues to live in the village nearby, and in her time off enjoys dancing, which she has learned from Sapna, one of the other Prajna Vihar School teachers; she also enjoys teaching others to dance.
