Sheetal Kumari is serving as a constable in the Bihar Police. She is from Mastipur village in Bodhgaya. Sheetal began her education at Prajna Vihar School, where she completed her matriculation (Class 10), and then continued her studies in college.

She successfully cleared multiple rounds of rigorous examinations and physical tests, including long jump, high jump, and running 100 and 500 meters within the required time limits. After her selection, she underwent training in firearms handling and policing duties.
